July 6, 2026
11 Arrested in Lafayette, Louisiana Multi-Agency Child Predator Sting — Suspects Believed They Were Meeting Real Children
A multi-agency undercover operation in Lafayette, Louisiana concluded with 11 total arrests — 8 in the initial phase, followed by 3 additional suspects taken into custody on July 6. Each suspect allegedly communicated online with someone they believed to be a child, then arranged an in-person meeting. When suspects arrived at the predetermined location, they were met by law enforcement. Authorities coordinated multiple local, state, and federal agencies over several weeks. The Louisiana Attorney General's Office confirmed the investigation remains ongoing and additional charges may follow. Anyone with information can contact local law enforcement or the Louisiana AG's Office.
🚨 Major Operation
July 2, 2026
21 Arrested in Washington State "Operation Guardian" — 30+ Agencies Unite in Snohomish County ICAC Sting
Twenty-one people were arrested during a multi-agency child exploitation sting in Snohomish County, Washington, led by the Washington State Patrol's Missing and Exploited Children Task Force (MECTF). More than 30 local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies participated in the multi-day operation, headquartered in Edmonds. Suspects are charged with offenses including attempted rape of a child, commercial sexual abuse of a minor, communication with a minor for immoral purposes, and sexual exploitation. "Our detectives worked tirelessly with our local and federal partners to identify and arrest those who prey on the most vulnerable in our community," said WSP Chief John Batiste. Since MECTF's launch in 2015, this task force has made nearly 400 arrests and removed numerous children from dangerous situations.
🚨 Trafficking Sting
July 1, 2026
6 Men Arrested in Miami Human Trafficking Sting — All Believed They Were Paying for Sex with a 14- or 15-Year-Old Girl
Six men were arrested in a Miami joint undercover operation involving the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office, the Human Trafficking Task Force, Miami Police, and Homeland Security. Each man had responded to an online ad posted by law enforcement and agreed to pay for sexual contact with what they believed was a girl aged 14 or 15. When they arrived and opened the door, a tactical team was waiting. Prices arranged ranged from $50 to $200. All six were held without bond on human trafficking charges. The sting came just weeks after 12 men were arrested in a similar Miami-Dade operation. "He's using the computer to meet a minor to have sex," the judge stated during the hearing.
🚨 Predator Sting
June 29, 2026
11 Arrested — Including Man Named "Santa Claus" — in Kenner, Louisiana Child Predator Sting; 10 More Warrants Issued
The Kenner Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division arrested 11 men in a weekend undercover sting targeting online child sexual predators — including a 75-year-old man whose legal name is Santa Claus, who allegedly used a dating app to arrange a meeting with who he believed was a 15-year-old boy. Officers were waiting. All 11 face child exploitation charges. Investigators also issued arrest warrants for 10 additional suspects identified during the operation. "Anyone who uses the anonymity of the internet to exploit children should understand one thing — we are there too," said Kenner Police Chief Keith Conley. "We will continue to identify these predators, build strong cases, and bring them to justice before they have the opportunity to victimize a child."
🚨 Major Sting Operation
June 11, 2026
58 Child Predators Arrested in Florida's "Operation Bad Habits" — Marion County's Largest-Ever ICAC Sting — Suspects Thought They Were Meeting Children as Young as 7
The Marion County Sheriff's Office, with the FBI, U.S. Marshals, Homeland Security Investigations, FDLE, and Florida Highway Patrol, arrested 58 men in a five-day undercover operation running June 1–6. Undercover detectives posed online as children as young as 7 years old. When suspects arrived at predetermined meeting locations, they were arrested. Among those arrested were parents and teachers with regular access to children. "The fact that this many predators are actively trying to prey on the vulnerable children in our community is deeply disturbing," said State Attorney Bill Gladson. Florida AG James Uthmeier called it the most successful ICAC operation in Marion County history: "58 more child predators are behind bars — and we are just getting started."
🚨 Major Federal Operation
June 2026
U.S. Marshals "Operation Yellow Card" — 35 Endangered Missing Children Recovered in Massachusetts Ahead of FIFA World Cup — Multiple Human Trafficking Investigations Opened
The U.S. Marshals Service District of Massachusetts, partnering with Massachusetts State Police, Boston Police, and multiple DA offices, launched Operation Yellow Card ahead of the June–July 2026 FIFA World Cup in Boston. In anticipation of the influx of hundreds of thousands of international visitors — and the elevated risk of predatory exploitation that historically follows major events — law enforcement proactively targeted vulnerable missing children. The operation recovered 35 high-risk missing children from as far as Georgia and Texas, reuniting them with family or placing them in protective services. Multiple criminal investigations were opened involving kidnapping, human trafficking, and associated offenses. "Operation Yellow Card represents our unyielding commitment to intercepting these threats," said Acting U.S. Marshal Dennis Matulewicz.

Brian Richie, 67, a full-time security guard at Jefferson County Public Schools until 2024 who had recently been rehired as an external consultant, turned himself in to Longmont Police on June 22 on a slew of charges — including sexual assault of a child by a person in a position of trust, 12 counts of sexual exploitation of a child for possessing videos, and invasion of privacy involving a minor. When the judge read his $250,000 bond, Richie fainted and had to be helped up by deputies. The investigation was triggered by a juvenile's disclosure to Blue Sky Bridge, a child abuse nonprofit, that Richie had been touching her inappropriately when people left the room. He is the ninth Jeffco employee charged with sexual misconduct-related offenses since 2023.

Saez used encrypted messaging to coerce minors into sending him sexually explicit images, telling an undercover officer that children ages 11–15 were his "sweet spot" and that he found younger victims through his church. In May 2023, he raped a minor he instructed to meet him in a public restroom on Long Island. "Jose Saez abused his position as a Pastor by coercing innocent children," said FBI AD in Charge Barnacle. The arrest is the latest in a cascade of at least a dozen misconduct and abuse cases inside the Manatee County School District since 2023, including an elementary resource teacher arrested for possessing CSAM, a high school football coach arrested twice in one week, and a Sarasota County security aide who allegedly moved a student into his home and sexually abused her. ⚠️
Warning Signs of Grooming

Grooming is how predators build trust — with both the child and the family — before the abuse begins. Recognize these red flags early.

  • An adult who seeks one-on-one time alone with your child, especially without your knowledge
  • Giving gifts, money, special privileges, or excessive attention to your child
  • Encouraging secrecy between themselves and the child — "Don't tell your parents"
  • Excessive online messaging, texting, or gaming with your child — especially late at night
  • Attempting to isolate your child from family, friends, or other trusted adults
  • Showing your child sexual content, making sexual jokes, or initiating talk about bodies
  • Your child becomes withdrawn, anxious, or changes behavior after time with a specific adult
  • An adult who consistently ignores boundaries or insists on physical contact (hugs, tickling)
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
Tips for Parents & Guardians
💬 Talk About Body Safety Early

Teach children the correct names for body parts, the difference between safe and unsafe touch, and that no adult should ask them to keep body-related secrets. Start these conversations before age 5.

📱 Monitor Online Activity

Know every app your child uses. Predators use gaming platforms, Discord, Snapchat, TikTok, and Instagram DMs to contact children. Keep devices out of bedrooms at night. Check messages regularly.

🚫 Enforce the Two-Adult Rule

No adult — including coaches, teachers, and relatives — should be alone with your child in a private setting. Reputable youth organizations enforce this. If they don't, ask why.

🙋 Believe Your Child

If your child tells you something happened or expresses discomfort around an adult — listen without minimizing. Children rarely make up these disclosures. Respond calmly, then contact authorities.

The mother was transported to a hospital in stable condition. The AMBER Alert was rescinded upon the child's safe recovery.

Operation Shine the Light VII — 14 Endangered Missing Children Recovered Across Oahu — Largest Recovery in Operation's History
A two-day multiagency operation on Oahu, Hawaii recovered 14 endangered missing children — 9 girls and 5 boys aged 13 to 17 — in the largest single recovery in Operation Shine the Light's history. The operation brought together 10+ agencies including the Honolulu Police Department, FBI Honolulu, U.S. Marshals Service, U.S. Secret Service, and NCMEC. Each child was screened for human trafficking and exploitation. Investigators credited public tips and sightings as key to finding the children. Since 2020, Operation Shine the Light has now recovered 64 children from dangerous situations. "Each recovery represents a life given another chance at stability, support and hope," said DHS Director Joseph Campos II.

About Missing Child Alert

"Every child matters. Every prayer counts. Every action makes a difference."

🏠

Who We Are

Missing Child Alert is a faith-driven awareness platform built on a simple, unshakeable conviction: no missing child should ever be forgotten, and no family should ever feel like they are searching alone. We are a community of believers and concerned citizens who refuse to look away. This site exists to keep names in front of eyes, stories in front of hearts, and urgency in front of communities across America.

We are not a government agency or law enforcement body. We are people of faith who believe that awareness saves lives — and that every share, every post, every conversation brings a child one step closer to home.

🙏

Faith in Action

We believe in the power of prayer — not as a last resort, but as a first response. Prayer moves hearts. It opens doors that logic cannot unlock. It guides the feet of strangers toward answers that investigators sometimes cannot find. We have seen it happen, and we believe it will keep happening.

But we also believe, as James 2:17 reminds us, that faith without works is dead. Prayer and action are not opposites — they are partners. We pray, and then we move. We ask God for guidance, and then we share the alert. We lift up the family in our hearts, and then we answer the call. Together, prayer and action form a force that no darkness can withstand.

🎯

Our Mission

Our mission is to serve as a bridge between missing child alerts and the communities that can act on them. We amplify voices that might otherwise go unheard. We equip families and concerned citizens with the resources they need. And we work to foster a nationwide network of people who are paying attention — because the next person who sees something and says something might be the reason a child comes home.

We cover breaking news, found-safe stories, awareness articles, and safety resources — all in one place, freely accessible to anyone who cares enough to show up.

🕊️ Will You Pray — and Act?

Right now, thousands of children across this country are missing. Their parents are awake at night. Their siblings are waiting. Law enforcement is searching. And somewhere, someone might have the piece of the puzzle that brings them home.

We invite you to pray specifically: pray for the children by name, for the families holding on by faith, for investigators to be guided to answers, and for anyone who holds information to find the courage to come forward. Then act — share an alert, spread this site, submit a tip, or simply tell one person. God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things. You could be one of them.
